PDX & Muses
The purpose of this blog, PDX & Muses, is to tell you about every single rock concert I have attended over the past five years. Most of them have been in Portland, my home-city. Thus the "PDX" in the title. However, a couple have been in Seattle, WA... and a couple at the Fairground in Salem, OR.
The point of the "Muses" part of the title...
First, my nickname (given to me by two of my best friends about 2-3 years ago) is Muse #3... The Muse of lyric and song. Second, these concerts were performances by many different Muses of lyrics and songs.
Also, the latest concert I attended was a band called Muse. I've seen them twice now, and I think they're my favorite band.
Anyway, it seemed fitting.
The total amount of concerts (so far) is 25. First concert date was April 7, 2005... latest was April 3, 2010.
Here is the list...

Muse (ft. Silversun Pickups) - Apr 3, 2010
This list shows you how much I can remember of who played at these shows without looking them up...
Opening bands... if I remembered them... it's because I liked them.
... or it's because they were so incredibly terrible that I still have nightmares where they are the headliners at a concert...
SO!
My first post, coming whenever I feel like writing about it, will be The Shins concert of April 7, 2005.
See you then.
(PS. The picture is the album cover of Regina Spektor's latest album, "Far"... It seemed appropriate.)
